Early Orthodontic Care.
Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that is concerned with the study and treatment of (improper bites), which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both. See also Preventive Dentistry.
Root Canal (Endodontic) Treatment.
It is necessary when the soft inner tissue of the tooth, the pulp, becomes inflamed or infected. Today, with a special dental procedure called a root canal therapy you may save that tooth. When the pulp is diseased or injured, the pulp tissue dies. If you don't remove it, your tooth gets infected and you could lose it. After the dentist removes the pulp, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. Then dentist places a crown over the tooth to help make it stronger.
Root Canal (Endodontic) surgery.
The most common surgical procedure is called root end resection. We usually cut off the very tip of the root and place a filling at the end of the root to help seal the root structure.
Treatment of Periodontal Disease.
Periodontal (gum) diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, are serious infections that, left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. The word periodontal literally means "around the tooth." Periodontal disease is a chronic bacterial infection that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth. Periodontal disease can affect one tooth or many teeth. It begins when the bacteria in plaque (the sticky, colorless film that constantly forms on your teeth) causes the gums to become inflamed. If you're diagnosed with periodontal disease, our dentist may recommend periodontal surgery. Periodontal surgery is necessary when the tissue around your teeth is unhealthy and cannot be repaired with non-surgical treatment.
If you've already lost a tooth to periodontal disease, you may be interested in Dental Implants.
Natural color fillings.
If you have a cavity or tooth that needs repair, or even old mercury filling you would like to replace, natural color fillings may be just what you are looking for. Your fillings should be mercury free, safe, effective and unnoticeable. Your teeth will look like you've never had a cavity.
